In 2008, she obtained a Master’s degree in “Biology of Reproduction” from the University of Thessaly. In 2016, she supported her PhD thesis and she was announced doctor of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The subject of her thesis was about the role of two genes that suppress the metastasis in the pathophysiology of endometriosis and was supervised by the professor Mr. Gregory Girmpizis.
Since 2012, she is a Gynecologist and Obstetrician in Thessaloniki with a special interest in infertility and reproductive medicine. She is a member of the Greek Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology, of the Greek Association of Ultrasounds in Obstetrics and Gynecology, of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and of the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE).
Her research project focuses on the field of gynaecological endocrinology and assisted reproduction.
