Personal and Family History:

  • Donors complete a detailed personal and family history.

After screening, the matching process begins to select a suitable donor based on phenotypic characteristics and blood groups of the recipient couple. Despite the demand, the limited number of willing donors can lead to a waiting period of up to three months for treatment to start.
