She has graduated from the department of Genetics of the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and holds a Master of Science in Medical Genetics from the University of Glasgow. She trained in embryology at the Clinic of Naples, Villa del Sole, Italy under the supervision of Fiorentino and Brian Dale.

She has been working in one of the biggest IVF Units in Athens for 17 consecutive years, with approximately 2000 IVF cycles yearly. During that period she has been trained in every IVF method with an emphasis on pre-implantation genetic diagnosis.

She has also worked in an IVF Unit in Thessaloniki, contributing significantly to the smooth operation of the department and the provision of high-quality embryological techniques.

She has taken part in a research project on the gene therapy of cancer, the results of which have been published in an authoritative scientific journal.
Rania joined Assisting Nature in 2022.
