Glykeria Goliou is a graduate of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace (2017) and holds a Master’s degree in “Infectious Diseases – International Medicine” (2019). She earned her PhD from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Democritus University of Thrace (2024) in the field of immunogenetics. In the past, she has worked on studies with a particular focus on the molecular and immunogenetic analysis of T lymphocytes in hematological malignancies.
Additionally, she has participated in studies on the HPV virus, focusing on investigating the relationship between HPV and the microbiome. During her research career, she gained extensive experience in molecular biomarker analysis and molecular biology and genetics techniques, with an emphasis on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies. Her current scientific interests focus on genetic diagnostics and the field of Preimplantation Genetic Testing.
