With absolute success, the 3rd Assisted Reproduction Conference, “Bonding embryologists to Geneticists and Fertility specialists,” was completed, which took place at NOESIS from September 8 to September 10, 2023. The central theme of the conference was the latest developments in the field of assisted reproduction and the importance of collaboration between specialties, reproductive gynecologists, embryologists, and geneticists in everyday clinical practice for the benefit of patients. In addition, the conference focused on the pressing issue of subfertility and proposed solutions for its management.

The opening ceremony of the conference was honored by the presence of Mr. Anastasiadis, the President of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Honorary Professor Mr. Bondis, Mr. Athanasiadis, the Director of the 3rd Obstetrics Department of Hippokrateio Hospital, and Ms. Vaitsi on behalf of the Medical Association of Thessaloniki. They extended their congratulations in their greetings to the efforts of the organizing committee, and especially to the President of the conference, Associate Professor Mr. Papanikolaou Evangelos, for their contribution to the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of medically assisted reproduction.

Distinguished scientists from 13 different countries around the world participated as speakers and presented innovative methods for addressing fertility issues, exchanged ideas, and shared their scientific expertise.

As part of the conference, four hands-on workshops were conducted:

A) Biopsying, vitrifying, and thawing D5 embryos, for embryologists

B) Whole genome amplification (WGA), NGS Analysis & Genetic counseling, for geneticists.

C) Embryo transfer technique on uterus phantoms

Δ) Hysteroscopy on 3D Uterus fantoms
Trainers: Michos Georgios, Babas Evangelos

Our goal was to provide a high-quality scientific program, present the latest developments in assisted reproduction, and share our knowledge and experiences in Human Reproduction with exceptional colleagues from around the world. We wholeheartedly thank all the speakers, trainers, participants, and the companies that took part.
