Rodia graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Patras in 2022. During her studies, she specialized in the fields of Molecular Biology and Genetics. Her thesis focused on investigating the antimicrobial activity of widely used antibiotics against CRISPR genome-edited S. aureus strains.
n the same year, she completed her internship at the RGCC Scientific Center, where she worked on techniques such as DNA/RNA isolation from cancer cells, gene expression analysis in cell line samples, and performed Molecular Analysis Methods (PCR) and Quantitative PCR (Real-time PCR)
Since 2024, she holds a master’s degree in “Human Reproduction” from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her thesis was based on the question of whether egg freezing at an older age is a realistic goal for fertility preservation.
Furthermore, during the 2023-2024 period, she completed her internship at the University Hospital of Brussels, Belgium, where she participated in scientific research on sperm DNA fragmentation, Microfluidics technology, as well as the monitoring and analysis of morphokinetic events that occur throughout embryo development using Time Lapse Imaging (TLI).
